Elections in Ukraine are always intrigues, shows on the bordering of farce and the dirtiest political technologies. Candidates for the election campaign become best friends for Ukrainians, promise them the golden mountains, try to appear in the best light. But is everything as rosy as in their election programs?
Let’s consider the president of Ukraine and in combination with presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko. Most recently, he fired his business partner, Oleg Gladkovsky, from the post of first deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of the country. The reason for this decision was the information that appeared in the press about corruption in the area of spending budget funds for defense from autumn 2016 to 2017.
