A Turkish high speed train has crashed into an overpass and two carriages toppled over in Ankara, killing four and injuring 43, Ankara Governor Vasip Sahin said, Euronews reports.
The high speed train, which was travelling to the central province of Konya, crashed into a locomotive which carries out track inspections, Sahin said.
Video footage showed emergency workers at the scene, where carriages were trapped beneath the mangled metal wreckage of an overpass.
Turkish media Milliyet has posted photos and footage of the Ankara train crash and mentions “many” casualties:
