After a welcome ceremony in the square near the presidential palace, Pope Francis will meet with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev then he will head to Atanas Burov Square for a meeting with official authorities and diplomatic corps.
The visit of Pope Francis coincided with the voting in the presidential elections in Northern Macedonia, which began on Sunday.
