British MPs are voting today on amendments to Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit deal, as they try to gain more control over the process, reports Euronews.
The amendments proposed include extending Article 50, toughening the UK’s stance on the Irish backstop and ruling out a “no deal” Brexit.
House Speaker John Bercow will decide this afternoon which to select for further consideration.
If approved by parliament, the amendments could have a decisive influence over the process of the UK exiting the EU.
