Interpol, the body that coordinates police forces across the globe, is in danger of being politicized by Russia, say prominent Kremlin critics, VOA news reports.

A senior Russian police official is one of only two candidates put forward for the role of president of the organization in a vote scheduled Wednesday in Dubai. Opponents say the Kremlin is abusing Interpol’s arrest warrants to pursue political enemies, as Henry Ridgwell reports from London.
