EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier and European Council President Donald Tusk hold press conference on Brexit draft statement. On Wednesday, British Prime Minister Theresa May won her cabinet’s backing on a Brexit deal she struck with the EU after an intense five-hour long meeting, Euronews reports.
Shortly, afterwards the European Commission published the draft Brexit agreement, which is 585 pages long.
In a tweet, Northern Ireland minister Shailesh Vara announced his resignation from the UK government
In it, he says that “the agreement leaves the UK in a half-way house with no time limit on when we will finally be a sovereign nation.”
He added the UK would be “locked in in a customs agreements indefinitely”
