Young activists, who tried to attract attention to the legitimacy of the upcoming presidential election, were put in prison for 15 days. The case has caused a public outcry in Kazakhstan. The people voice complaints about the judicial, police and governmental systems. They call the situation an outrage and demand release of the activists. Meanwhile, as past experience shows, this situation is not at all an exception from the rule. Despite the Constitution, only some of all are equal under the law of Kazakhstan.
